The Environmental Protection Agency announced that it will not ban the use of a pesticide called chlorpyrifos, which is used on fruit, nuts, soybeans, broccoli, cauliflower, and other crops. That’s despite research showing chlorpyrifos can have harmful effects on children’s brains. The Obama administration's EPA proposed banning this pesticide four years ago.
