During the ongoing quarantine, many people are driving much less. So buying a new car may seem like a needless luxury. But for dealerships and car companies, it’s vital to attract new customers. In Los Angeles, dealerships are open, and some even let you test drive.

But with 30 million Americans out of work, and others working from home, the auto industry may have to take drastic steps to survive.
