Author Susan Straight spent her whole life in Riverside, where she raised her three daughters. Now that she's become an empty nester, she's written a book to remind her daughters of where they came from. "In the Country of Women" is about six generations of women who came before them, including those from the Swiss Alps and from a slave cabin the South.
