Benjamin Neanyahu’s reelection might end hopes for a peace deal with Palestinians

Israeli voters will head to the polls on Tuesday. It'll be the second general election this year -- after Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu failed to form a governing coalition in spring. 

To fight for his political future, Netanyahu is turning more towards the right. He has vowed to annex all the settlements in the predominantly Palestinian West Bank. He’s also embracing and forging ties with right-wing leaders around the globe, including Russian President Vladimir Putin.
