The latest on the Getty fire and how bad it could get

The Getty fire, which broke out near the 405 freeway early this morning, has burned more than 600 acres and forced many residents to evacuate. Freeways and schools are shut in the area.

The Getty fire is one of more than a dozen active fires burning in the state. In Northern California, the Kincade fire has burned more than 66,000 acres and is only 5% contained.
