In 2005, some of the biggest tech CEOs in Silicon Valley -- Apple’s Steve Jobs, Google’s Eric Schmidt, Paul Otellini of Intel, and a number of others -- allegedly made a secret agreement not to recruit each other’s employees. The U.S. Justice Department got wind of the pact and its investigation has resulted in a class action lawsuit by workers against these companies.
