Jeffrey Epstein's death highlights abysmal conditions across U.S. prison system

Accused child sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein apparently killed himself over the weekend, even though he was supposed to have been closely monitored by guards. He was in the secure housing unit in a Manhattan jail. His death is raising serious questions about the condition of prisons and jails in America.
