Iconic local architect shares vision for better housing designs

Hosted by

If you’ve ever driven or walked through the city and seen a building that looks straight out of a Dr. Seuss book then you’ve seen architect Jeff Shelton’s wildly creative and whimsical work.

So as elected officials debate what to do with the question of housing, we thought we’d pose the question to Shelton to see what new ideas he might have to add to the conversation.

Shelton describes his architectural style of Spanish architecture as “reposed" and "melting”. Photo courtesy of Shelton.
