A new report finds that none of the top managers at the LA County Sheriff’s Department will be fired or even demoted for a supposed “a culture of violence” inside county jails. The two LAs, the city and county, are squabbling about a proposed ballot measure to create a city health department. LA Mayor Eric Garcetti is feuding with his taxi czar. And Garcetti parks his office outside - in a parking space, complete with Astroturf and flags. KCRW's Steve Chiotakis discusses the week's news in Southern California with Seema Mehta of the LA Times and Gene Maddaus of the LA Weekly.
