President Bush Addresses the Nation on Iraq

Hosted by Warren Olney Sep. 08, 2003 National
President Bush wants another $87 billion and the help of other nations to continue the job in Iraq. Specifically, he said that Europe, Japan and states in the Middle East will benefit from freedom in Iraq and Afghanistan and he said, "They should contribute to that success." Will he get the money? Will he get more participation from the United Nations, whose members have both an "opportunity" and a "responsibility" to assume a broader role? We get reaction from the UN, Democratic Senator Barbara Boxer, relatives of American soldiers and from Iraq itself.
