Presidents Bush and Fox Meet in Crawford, Texas

George Bush began his presidency by establishing warm relations with Mexico-s President Vicente Fox. But the friendship chilled when Mexico opposed the war in Iraq, and when the US executed a Mexican national, Fox cancelled a visit to Crawford, Texas. This weekend, the visit is on again. As Fox re-join the elite club of world leaders who-ve stayed overnight at the ranch, there is hope that historic conflicts might be resolved. Will there be any progress on border security, water and immigration? Is it mainly a photo-op to appeal to Latino voters? What about the growing corruption scandal in Mexico City? We speak with reporters, immigration reformists and specialists in US-Mexico relations, a former US ambassador to Mexico and an advisor to the Mexican government. Making News: Labor Report Shows Weaker than Expected Job Growth At the outset of his re-election campaign, President Bush is still faced with a -jobless recovery.- Just 21,000 new jobs were created last month, and January-s previous count of 112,000 has been revised down to 97,000.
