Yesterday, with overwhelming popular support, the National Assembly voted to ban headscarves, skullcaps and oversized crosses worn by Muslim, Jewish and Christian students. Ghislaine Hudson was part of the Stasi Commission, which proposed the ban on religious symbols in public schools.
