Which Way, L.A.?

Can the Wild West of Marijuana Be Tamed?

Last Friday, Governor Brown signed legislation designed to correct the mistakes of the past and prepare for the future. It finally provides statewide regulations for medical marijuana, approved by the voters in 1996. There is also a framework for recreational use — just in case it's legalized — in the near future.

Last Friday, Governor Brown signed legislation designed to correct the mistakes of the past and prepare for the future. It finally provides statewide regulations for medical marijuana, approved by the voters in 1996. There is also a framework for recreational use — just in case it's legalized — in the near future. We get an update from a cannabis attorney and the California assemblyman who backed the legislation that provided much of the framework.
