Mayor Villaraigosa proclaimed a major victory last week, when parents and teachers at seven Los Angeles Schools agreed to join his Partnership for school reform. Now it turns out that Jordan High will not join after all due to not enough votes from the teachers. He’s been saying the plan he presented was deliberately vague so that individual schools can determine how they want to proceed.
