DWP General Manager Apologizes for Criticizing Audit

First, an audit revealed uncontrolled spending of ratepayers' money by two mysterious "institutes" run jointly by the DWP and its major union. Now, it turns out the "institutes" will be paid millions more. So far, Mayor Garcetti's administration has failed to offer solutions to a puzzle at City Hall.

First, an audit revealed uncontrolled spending of ratepayers' money by two mysterious "institutes" run jointly by the DWP and its major union. Now, it turns out the "institutes" will be paid millions more. So far, Mayor Garcetti's administration has failed to offer solutions to a puzzle at City Hall.

Also, a low-level aide to Attorney General Kamala Harris is accused of impersonating an officer — working for a police department that's 3000 years old.
