LA, SF District Attorneys File against Uber's Safety Claims

Ride-sharing uses a smartphone app to match up a willing passenger with a willing driver who has a car.  Lyft and Sidecar have made it a business, but the titan of ride-sharing is Uber, which investors say is worth $40 billion after just five years in operation.  But there have been “growing pains.” The ride-sharing service has been banned in New Delhi, India and in Portland, Oregon -- and now the DA’s of LA and San Francisco have jointly filed suit, claiming that ride sharing is misleading the public about safety.  Is government stifling innovation?  We hear a report from Mike Isaac, tech reporter for the New York Times, and talk to Jackie Lacey, the LA District Attorney.
