The Global Agenda on Whaling

Hosted by

During a week in which two wandering whales made international headlines, we’ll be discussing other whale related issues including this week’s meeting of the International Whaling Commission in Alaska. Even with a moratorium on commercial whaling in place since 1986, more than two-thousand whales were caught last year. Also, Delta and Dawn, the two humpback whales that took a wrong turn into the Sacramento River, were reportedly spotted last night by a fishing vessel in the Pacific Ocean.
