Yosemite Park: What's in a Name?

After 20 years of operating the hotels, cabins and recreational facilities at Yosemite National Park, the Delaware North Company lost last year's bid to renew its contract. It's demanding big money for names it trademarked while it was doing business: $51 million.

    After 20 years of operating the hotels, cabins and recreational facilities at Yosemite National Park, the Delaware North Company lost last year's bid to renew its contract. It's demanding big money for names it trademarked while it was doing business: $51 million. The National Park Service says they're only worth $3.5 million — and now, the names are being changed.
