Anne Litt closes out our nine-hour Labor Day music festival. Anne is one of three popular KCRW hosts who have changed the musical landscape worldwide with their unique styles and music tastes. Her incredible ear for new talent has earned her recognition from the Oscars, for her work on Little Miss Sunshine. She has an undeniable passion for music but it is the moving, sonic experience she creates that makes listeners want to escape with her every weekend.
Like Jason Bentley (9am-noon) and Garth Trinidad (1-4pm), Anne will cull from the archives, spotlight artists she's discovered and championed, and share memorable moments. Ann will revisit music by long-time favorites with current new releases like Randy Newman, Raphael Saadiq and Bajofondo, as well as artists like Radiohead, DeVotchKa and Ry Cooder. (Airs 9pm-midnight)
