Have you ever been on a hunt for a specific dish? Amrit Singh has. The music journalist and filmmaker instigated a dosa hunt in New York City and chronicled the journey in his short film, Dosa Hunt. Zach Brooks carries out his own food hunt every day as the blogger behind Midtown Lunch LA. He discusses his favorite day-time eats on the Sawtelle strip. Jonathan Gold waxes poetic about the rice bowls at Chego while chef/owner Roy Choi says he couldn't be happier with the restaurant's new digs in Chinatown. Alex Brown and Evan George - aka the Hot Knives - offer advice on throwing a vegetarian summer bash, and Amanda Cohen, chef and owner of the vegetable restaurant Dirt Candy, shares tips for elevating vegetarian cuisine. Plus, technology journalist Christopher Mims reports on a 3-D printer that can print chocolate. At the market, Laura Avery gets artichoke advice from chef Brooke Williamson, and fruit detective David Karp is very excited about apricots.
