In 1987 he completed a fellowship at Wadsworth VA Hospital as a CURE Research Fellow. He joined the staff at UCLA in 1992 and remained there until he accepted the position of Chairman of GI/Endocrine Surgery at UT Southwestern Medical Center in 2003.
Dr. Livingston performs many bariatric surgeries each year. He talks about the procedure on Good Food.
