LA Weekly 's Pultizer Prize-winning food critic Jonathan Gold hits the LA streets in search of Chicago-style hot dogs. A Chicago-style dog is a Vienna beef frank, yellow mustard, relish, chopped raw onions, celery salt, pickle spear and tomatoes nestled into poppy-seed bun.

LA Weekly's Pultizer Prize-winning food critic Jonathan Gold hits the LA streets in search of Chicago-style hot dogs. A Chicago-style dog is a Vienna beef frank, yellow mustard, relish, chopped raw onions, celery salt, pickle spear and tomatoes nestled into poppy-seed bun. Jonathan also stumbles upon the "Twinkie dog", a hot dog sandwiched between two deep-fried Hostess Twinkies and garnished with Cheez Whiz.
