    RADIO BROADCAST #915

    10-16–26

Fanatic! I hope you had a good week and got some great October listening in. I’ve spent quite a bit of time in traffic and in the studio working on an audiobook as well as doing press for the upcoming Cool Evidence exhibit in November. I’ve been up early and out the door the entire week so I’m a bit behind on listening. I hope to catch up a bit over the weekend.

It’s Miriam Linna’s birthday! We’ve been playing a Miriam-related track in our second hour for quite a few months now. She has a substantial grip on music history and I’ve learned quite a bit from her. Happy birthday, Miriam!

I’ve been writing up placards for the Cool Evidence event and making some last-minute changes in what we’re going to put on the walls. There’s a lot to do, but it’s great to finally be so close to November 6 and 7.

Not only does Liz Harris have a new Helen album out but there’s also a solo record set for November called Music For Two Films About Water. https://grouper.bandcamp.com/ album/music-for-two-films- about-water

Spacemoth at the Moroccan Lounge tonight, October 16. This is a KCRW Presents event.

Hannah Lew at the Moroccan Lounge on October 24. This is a KCRW Presents event.

Fanatic, please excuse the brevity of this edition of the show notes! It’s been a long week, I’m beat, and I still have a ton of work left to do. Hopefully, you will find tonight’s gathering of tunes to your liking. I’ve listened to all the tracks a few times through and I think we’ve assembled a good batch of tunes for you. Thank you so much for tuning in. Have a great weekend and STAY FANATIC!!!
