    RADIO BROADCAST #918

    11-06–26

Fanatic! November is here. Where I live, it’s still pretty warm. The weather hasn’t seem to have snapped yet. Yesterday, we had a “friends and family day” at the Radar615 Gallery so my neighbors and some people I work with could check out the Cool Evidence exhibit. It’s early in the morning Friday and I have to get going to the gallery for doors in a few hours. I have no idea if anyone will show up, but hopefully some people will come by.

The last few days have been a great learning experience. I watched these three expert art hangers put about 100 things up on several walls. They were done in a little under eight hours. I think it looks good, but I also know that what I think is good, might be uninteresting to other people, so actually, I have no idea whatsoever what anyone else will make of it. Those who showed up yesterday seem to dig it. I’m sure there will be some photos of things online. I’ve been working to do this for quite a while, so it’s great to finally be making this happen.

For our first November show, we wanted to try to change the mood somewhat. Hopefully, you’ll have a good time with what we have selected. Over the years, I’ve come to appreciate November. As I have perhaps said in these notes previously, I find November to be the thinking person’s October. Perhaps more introspective and contemplative. That’s what we were hoping to get across in tonight’s gathering of tunes. I appreciate the early darkness. When I was younger, it used to be depressing, but now I really like it. If you’re in Nashville, try and make it by the gallery to check out what we’ve got going on. Otherwise, have an amazing weekend and STAY FANATIC!!! ––
