Hold on now, it's a concept show tonight! I decided long and hard before putting Foghat at the beginning of the show. It's a great song and this show is eclectic and in being so, we have to be open to the classics. Foghat, if you really check them out, had some great songs. Foghat into The Pixies works for me. Tonight's set has a bit of a thang happening. We are going to roll the classic Trouble Funk live album in its entirety. It was originally released as a double album, so we will listen to all four sides mixed in with some very cool jams.

Tonight's Birthday Party track features one of Nick Cave's best lines. “Oh god, please let me die beneath her fists!” As well, tonight features one of the greatest live vocals ever, Janis Joplin singing Gershwin's Summertime is perfection. I have had this live album since I was in fifth grade and it still moves me. I drive by the hotel that Joplin died in all the time when I am in LA. I saw Trouble Funk play a few months after this album came out. It was one of the best shows I have ever seen. The album is one of the best live albums ever made and I hope you like tonight's show and STAY FANATIC!!!
