Fanatic! Happy weekend to you. I hope the last few days have been great. We have yet again, put together a tremendous set of tunes for what will hopefully be your great enjoyment. We start with the lilting tones of Acris Gryllus Dorsalis, a more perfect way to commence I can’t think of. From there, it’s a nonstop joyride.

Les Filles de Illighadad

I have a test pressing of the Les Filles de Illighadad LP and it’s great. We’ll get more into this one when the tracks are cleared. Speaking of test pressings, as it is our practice to not announce a record before a label does, I can drop the faintest of hints about a test pressing that I played last night for a new album that will be out late this year by one of our great sonic allies. I can’t wait to be able to get this one out to you. I’m standing by for instruction as to when that’s possible but we will get to every track.

It’s Friday evening as I write this. I have a great night of listening and work planned. Well, the work will be super boring but the listening will be top notch.

Next Friday is Ian MacKaye’s birthday. I think he’s at least 23 this year.
