Fanatic! No way! September is ending? That was fast. We’ve been working on the October shows for weeks. In fact, next week’s dose is with Engineer X right now. We’ve got some great things lined up for you.

As I’m writing this, it’s 0018 hrs. today. I’m really digging the album I’m listening to right now. It’s the new one by Magik Markers called 2020. I have a lot of their records and they’re all working for me. You can listen on Bandcamp and see what you think.

I was supposed to be in Memphis at Goner Fest but the doctor said for me to be there is a high risk endeavor and asked me not to go, so I didn’t. I would rather be there than here but I don’t want to be one of those breakout examples. I hate canceling anything. Once you give your word, that’s that. Ugh.

I know I’ve been bugging you about this record but it’s really cool. Alicja-Pop’s Howlin’ LP.

This is perfect timing. Tonight we listen to the excellent Empire album in its entirety and recently, our good pal and sonic ally, one Derwood Andrews, one half of Empire and one fourth of some band called Generation X wrote me and said he has a new website. Cool! Here it is.

Check out the Empire section for some cool from-the-source info. So glad he did this. Expensive Sound has been excellently reissued by your good friends at Drastic Plastic. They do great work. Their Damned reissues are top shelf, as are their Cramps records. Here’s the info on their two Empire pressings.

Otherwise, Fanatic, we have a great list of tunes for you. A cool mix tape with a full album in the second hour.

Listen to as much music as you can this week, be smart around others and STAY FANATIC!!!
