Fanatic! Coming to you from Poughkeepsie, NY. So glad to be back on the road with a show every night. We’re a few shows in and all is well. Finally, some autumn weather. I was walking around a little today and it doesn’t feel like summer any more.

I was walking around a little today and it doesn’t feel like summer any more. Engineer X just sent me two Bandcamp pages to check out. I listened and got the records.

They sound cool to me. Can’t wait to dig into them more.

Chris Shaw of Ex-Cult wrote me yesterday. He’s got a new outfit called Memo PST. They put their demo up on Bandcamp. Sounds great!

I’m such a fan of Chris, I’m glad he’s got new music happening.

Fanatic, easily my favorite album of the year is Careening by Hammered Hulls. I got the vinyl a few weeks ago and it’s excellent from start to finish. I’m happy for the band to have done such a great piece of work. Recorded at Inner Ear, produced by Ian MacKaye and on Dischord. We’ll be playing every track of this album on our show. Be looking for this one to ship in late October.

I have shows happening right now.

I’m really into tonight’s show. I think we hit the perfect mix tape/hangout balance. We hope you dig it and are having a great weekend.

Hang in there and STAY FANATIC!!!
