Fanatic! I hope the month of months has been treating you well. I’ve been doing a lot of backstage listening sessions before I head out for the show. I’m off the road for a couple of weeks, so I’m looking forward to getting the record player going.

Fanatic! I hope the month of months has been treating you well. I’ve been doing a lot of backstage listening sessions before I head out for the show. I’m off the road for a couple of weeks, so I’m looking forward to getting the record player going.

Tonight, we have another bit of concept listening. If you see below, we’re checking out The Idiot, the great from start to finish Iggy Pop/David Bowie collaboration, not to mention a favorite of the McGinty. This album, like Low, is for me at least, perfect October listening. It’s great at any time of course but there’s something about the cool temperatures that makes it really work for me. I've been listening to Perverted By Language by The Fall pretty much every day. I can't stop!

I was lucky enough to be able to see the new documentary on Don Letts called Rebel Dread. I watched it twice I liked it so much. Here are two listings for the premier if you happen to be in these zones.

REBEL DREAD premiere screenings + Q&As with Don Letts:

NY: Monday, 10/24 at Village East by Angelika (7pm)

LA: Tuesday, 11/1 at The GRAMMY Museum (7pm)

Don has had an interesting life and has great taste in music. I hope at some point you get to check it out.

Stay Fanatic!!! Vol. 3 is now available for mail order. It’s at our site now and ready to go. The book picks up where the last volume left off. More rare records, flyers, set lists, lots of photos and too much information! I’m working on Vol. 4 right now. All copies of Vol. 3 are signed.

Our show tonight is very much the mix tape and we hope it’s to your liking. I think this is always a good way to make a show but in the later part of the year, I think it’s a great way to go. Next week’s show is almost all done and it’s going to be a great one.

We hope you have a great time listening to the show tonight and that music is a great thing in your life. Have a great week and STAY FANATIC!!!
