Fanatic! I’m in Virginia Beach, VA. It feels like it’s going to be a hot and humid day. Last night we were in Baltimore, MD, which was great. I’ve had so many good times there. Ian MacKaye and Joe Lally were there.

We’re over 100 shows into the year and so far, things seem to be going well. I was hoping for more autumn weather but I think now that we’re heading south, it’s back to the heat. It was good while it lasted.

My tour dates:

I’ve been getting a lot of great listening in before the shows. A lot of October favorites are back in play.

David Bowie - Low

Wire - Pink Flag

The Fall - Live At The Witch Trials

UK Subs - Singles Collection

The Adverts - Crossing The Red Sea

The Damned - The Black Album

Joy Division - Unknown Pleasures

The Cramps - Psychedelic Jungle

Buzzcocks - Another Music In A Different Kitchen

Birthday Girl. Cool new DC band.

I’m so grateful to be out here with a show every night. I wish we could start the whole tour all over again next March and be out for another two years.

We have a great October mix tape for you tonight. We start both hours with the Damned. I think I’m going to have to put this play list into my phone and drag it to the gym with me today.

We hope you’re having an excellent October weekend and listening to a ton of music. Have a great time with all these tunes and STAY FANATIC!!!
