Fanatic, we have a tremendous show for you tonight. Perhaps you notice we are starting and ending with the peerless music of Ennio Morricone.

Fanatic. I hope you had a great week. Some solid releases I wanted to give you the heads up on.

The new Escape-ism album Charge Of The Love Brigade is available for pre-order.

The album releases on March 7. It’s a really good record. We’ll start tracks on March 8.

Also on March 7, a new album by our good pals and sonic allies Agender called Berserk will be unleashed. Romy generously sent me the tracks and we’ll get going on them in March.

Another cool band on the Damnably label called oddly from Kyoto, Japan just released their first album, Swerve. It’s very cool and we’ll be putting their music into the show very soon.

The new Horsegirl album, Phonetics On And On is available right now. It’s really good.

The 30th anniversary of the excellent Unrest album Perfect Teeth will be released on March 28. This time around, it’s a 2LP set. You can go to their Bandcamp page and check it out. Really looking forward to this one.

David Johansen, the legendary vocalist of the New York Dolls and all-around excellent human being is facing some very formidable health challenges. I encourage you to go to the below site and read about what’s happening with David and his family. If at all possible, perhaps you could see fit to make a contribution. Thank you.

Fanatic, we have a tremendous show for you tonight. Perhaps you notice we are starting and ending with the peerless music of Ennio Morricone. When I was very young, I saw some of the classic “spaghetti westerns” and even though I didn’t really understand what was going on, I was taken by the cinematography, which to my untrained eye seemed to be hyper-saturated and more real than real. Also, I was struck by how completely badass everyone looked. Lee Van Cleef was one of the coolest bad guys ever. But what really stayed with me was the music. Thinking you might enjoy beginning and ending with Mr. Morricone, I placed the tracks accordingly. As always, we thank you so much for taking the time to tune in and very much hope you dig the music. Until next week, hang in there as best you can and stay Fanatic.
