Fanatic. I hope you had a week that afforded you some time to listen to music. I’m a bit behind on playing records, but I did get a few onto the turntable.

I really like the album by Fungas called Intelligence 1 LP.

Fanatic, you might notice we have a few Ruts songs in the show tonight. July 14 will mark 45 years since the band’s legendary vocalist, Malcolm Owen, passed away. We just wanted to make sure to take a moment. If, for some reason, you’ve not heard more of this band’s incredible music. Please check them out.

Mark Robinson and Trevor Kampmann collide every year to make a record using a different moniker every time. For 2025, they’re calling themselves, Uncomfortable Police. We have a track from their new album Michelin Star Hardcore on the show tonight. I just found out there’s a CD of extra tracks, not on the album, available from the Teenbeat website called Adjunct Punk. I’m looking forward to hearing this as I really liked the album. https://teenbe.at/items/585.html

Otherwise, I believe we have a good assemblage of tunes for you tonight. We hope you like it. Thank you so much for tuning in. Until next week, keep the music playing and stay Fanatic.
