LeRoy Downs will be joining me on Strictly Jazz for a 3 hr. tribute to Ornette Coleman, who died last Wednesday at the age of 85. In addition to talking about his music, career and influence, we will hear testimonials from some of his musical cohorts via telephone interviews. And, of course, there's a ton of great music to sample.
