Apr 7, 1995

NYC proto-dreampop trio Ivy stopped by MBE in April 1995 for a generous live set to promote their debut album, Realistic. It was the band’s first-ever West Coast performance. In addition to core members Dominique Durand, Andy Chase, and Adam Schlesinger, the live group is rounded out by Mike Viola (Candy Butchers) and Rafa Maciejak (Lloyd Cole & The Negatives). Fresh from the KCRW archives, this session hasn’t been heard since its original broadcast on April 7, 1995(!).
