On this episode of the MBE podcast we'll start off with U.K. artist Tom Vek. Vek recently released his third studio album titled Luck and it became a station favorite almost immediately. Combining his narrative style of lyricism with post-punk electronic rhythms, Vek's live show is a loud and energetic affair.
Next up we feature long-time KCRW favorite Delta Spirit. Their live show is notoriously full of energy that seems to build and build after each song. We were so impressed with their session in support of their 6th studio release Into The Wide that we booked them for our SXSW showcase almost immediately after.
