    LA-based vocal powerhouse Lady Blackbird has a new album on the way at long last. Entitled Slang Spirituals (due Sep. 13), the record promises to be a no-holds-barred collection of future gospel anthems which hold radical love, acceptance, and impermanence as their central tenets. At least that’s the impression we’re getting from the single “Let Not (Your Heart Be Troubled)” – hear it now as part of this MBE and hit us up via our socials to let us know what you think.
