    Dec 5, 2023

In 2023 alone, San Fernando Valley native musician Carlos Niño had his hands in Les Jardins Mystiques Vol.1, the 13-years-in-the-making debut album from LA-fixture Miguel Atwood-Ferguson; André 3000’s surprise sonic odyssey New Blue Sun; and his own LP via his Carlos Niño & Friends moniker, (I’m Just Chillin’), on fire.

With this edition of MBE he makes his debut as a KCRW Guest DJ, with a set as sweet, deep, and groovy as he is. Plus he’s sharing stories about working with André, his life as a KCRW volunteer, encouraging Novena to become a DJ, how to be starstruck in a respectful way, growing into gentleness, and a whole lot more.
