All you really need to know about today’s MBE playlist is that it includes the first new music we’ve heard from dazzling guitar duo Rodrigo y Gabriela in quite some time, and they’ve just announced their first new album in over four years, In Between Thoughts...A New World, due Apr. 21 via ATO Records.

But, of course, there’s more. Canadian dream-jazz-pop darlings Men I Trust drop yet another standalone single, and you’ll hear it once you ease into today’s MBE. Plus, it’s Global Beat o’clock as we travel once again to Mexico with our trusty tour guide Betto Arcos to explore the country’s long-standing affinity for brass-forward, Klezmer-esque, Southeast European Balkan music.
