We’re taking a deep dive into the life, artistry, and passions of the 80 year-old funk legend (and father to our own Novena Carmel) Sly Stone. Celebrate his next trip around the sun with a hearty serving of Sly & the Family Stone classics, and solo work. Come for the cuts, stay for the loving attention to detail that family does best.
We’re also honoring the legacy of 71 year-old R&B stalwart Bobby Caldwell with his seminal hit, “What You Won’t Do For Love.” The oft-covered, and sampled song has been a phenomenal gift to the culture at large. Join us as we say farewell.
