We might be onto the next season by now, but we want to take a moment to say how thankful we are to Chris Douridas, and Travis Holcombe for keeping the party going last week. It feels great to be back in action after an invigorating week off. Greet the day to the majestic sounds of jazz legend Betty Carter’s 1964 release, “Open The Door.” Celebrate the life and legacy of Erasmo Carlos — considered to be a core member of the “Jovem Guarda (Young Guard)” in Brazil’s 1960s pop-rock scene. And by all means, enter here to get yourself in the running to check out the jagged grooves of Radiohead side-project, The Smile, live at the Shrine Auditorium on Dec. 22. Merry early Xmas indeed.
