We now have TWO singles ahead of Sampha’s feverishly anticipated sophomore LP Lahai. Second single “Only” is an intricately produced, smooth electro jam whose feather-light musicality contrasts deep personal reflection in the lyrics. Plus, Tierra Whack’s “Lazy” in honor of her feature in the new documentary Ladies First: A Story of Women in Hip-Hop, and a stone-cold classic from The Clash which might be more recognizable at this point for how it was sampled by another iconic woman in hip-hop.
