Listen, we’re not here to tell you about Stevie Wonder. You already know about Stevie Wonder, he either lives in your heart or… well, let’s be real, he definitely lives in your heart… because he’s STEVIE WONDER!

More:Ilana Glazer praises Stevie Wonder’s ‘Songs in the Key of Life’ (KCRW’s ‘The Treat’)

The multi-Grammy winning, multi-instrumentalist, singer, and composer knows more than most about the power of music to heal even the most deeply entrenched divides. We’re thrilled to welcome Wonder for a very special **Christmas themed** guest DJ set ahead of his 25th “House Full of Toys” concert. The annual celebration benefits children, people with disabilities, and families in need. And since 25 is a big, big anniversary, happening during what feels like an especially trying time, the full show is titled: “Sing Your Song! As We Fix Our Nation’s Broken Heart in Celebration of 25 Years of House Full of Toys.” The show will feature Wonder (and friends) performing gems from throughout his storied career. The name is derived from Wonder’s recent single “Can We Fix Our Nation’s Broken Heart,” and it sounds like exactly the balm that we all need right about now. Tickets are still available and concertgoers are asked to bring an unwrapped toy or gift of joy.

But while you’re waiting for showtime, enjoy Stevie’s chat with Novena where he shares a few favorite tunes, stories of childhood sibling shenanigans, and what he’s hoping to eat for Christmas dinner. Scroll on for the selects, click that player button for the convo, and watch this space for him getting back to us about which words he’d like to officially attribute to KCRW (so we can be a proper acronym at last!).
