KCRW presented a mix of rising and veteran artists at SXSW for our official showcase. The capacity crowd was treated to the dreamy sounds of young artist Ambar Lucid, thoughtful songwriting from Nairobi-born J.S. Ondara, and the bombastic live energy of Broken Social Scene (amongst many other highlights). Jason Bentley, Anne Litt, and Anthony Valadez recap the action and introduce you to the buzzworthy, English indie-pop artist Westerman.
