    In October 2017, cartoonist Brian Fies and his wife were forced to evacuate their home near Santa Rosa. A massive wildfire was coming. Within an hour, their neighborhood was flattened. Fies told his story in a web comic that went viral and led to a short Emmy-winning video. Now it’s become a full graphic memoir.
