    Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh’s hearings are done, but the controversy surrounding them lingers. The senate committee overseeing the hearing released documents that show inaccuracies in Kavanaugh’s testimony.

    Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh’s hearings are done, but the controversy surrounding them lingers. The senate committee overseeing the hearing released documents that show inaccuracies in Kavanaugh’s testimony. The first case centers on Kavanaugh’s involvement in the confirmation process of a controversial lower court judge during the George W. Bush years. Another deals with private files from Democrats that Republicans improperly obtained and circulated -- also in the early 2000s. The committee will likely vote on Kavanaugh in the next few weeks.
