    Manhattan's district attorney suggests he’s investigating Trump for bank and insurance fraud

    In July, the Supreme Court upheld Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus Vance’s subpoena of Trump’s tax returns. Today, Vance indicated that his office is looking into potential bank and insurance fraud.

    In July, the Supreme Court upheld Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus Vance’s subpoena of Trump’s tax returns. Today, Vance indicated that his office is looking into potential bank and insurance fraud. This came in a court filing that the Manhattan DA submitted today, arguing that Trump’s accountants should have to turn over his tax returns.

    On Friday, the Supreme Court rejected a bid from the Sierra Club to block the Trump administration from building his long-promised wall along the southern border.
