That means a greater police presence at the airport, but most security is handled by the Transportation Security Administration. The TSA oversees security measures like luggage screenings, pat-downs and liquid bans, and they have been criticized recently for their performance at many major airports, where travelers have experienced extremely long waits in security lines. Does the TSA need a revamp? And is the agency keeping travelers safe?
