Women developed the coffee filter, the donut, mass-produced champagne, and modern Mexican food. A new book looks at women’s accomplishments in the food world. It’s called “A Woman’s Place: The Inventors, Rumrunners, Lawbreakers, Scientists & Single Moms Who Changed the World with Food.”
