One of the most exciting figures in England’s thriving drum ’n’ bass scene, Nia Archives’ releases have steadily arrived to more and more fanfare. Her 2023 EP Sunrise Bang Ur Head Against Tha Wall was listed among KCRW’s Best Albums of the year. And somehow, she never released a full album… until now that is. Archives’ debut LP Silence Is Loud is out now so you know we had to rip into it immediately here at FREAKS ONLY HQ. Hear the spooky-yet-danceable “Nightmares” in this edition of the show. Baby Rose’s BADBADNOTGOOD-produced EP Slow Burn also just dropped and we’re giving “On My Mind” a spin. Plus, a few Coachella tips.
