UK DJ/production collective Girls of the Internet made our radar with their earliest singles from 2017. Girls FM, their 2020 LP, was one of the best of that year. They've got a sound that's always smooth and soulful, sometimes morose, sometimes sexy, and sometimes all of the above. You’ll hear evidence of this all over the flurry of recent GOTI singles that have been dominating the KCRW airwaves in 2025.

Strap in for a live, in-studio mix from Girls of the Internet’s Tom Kerridge (the driving force behind the project). Their set spans eras—from ‘90s house classics, to current jams—plus a smattering of their own productions throughout, including a ferocious-yet-never-officially-released Cleo Sol edit. Kerridge also tells us how the name of the project is an homage to an obscure Roy Ayers soul-jazz endeavor (Ladies Of The Eighties), and why it took so long to book DJ sets stateside.

Girls of the Internet will make their LA live performance debut with a DJ set tonight at El Cid (Thursday, July 10), and will then make their way to San Francisco, New York, and beyond.
